The Nedbank Private Wealth Educational Foundation supports maths and science at secondary-school level. It focuses on in- and out-of-classroom learner support as well as teacher development (not training).The Nedbank Private Wealth Charitable Foundation supports young people between the ages of 15 and 25 through accredited vocational and/or entrepreneurial skills programmes in the green economy and 21st-century skills in technology.

Organisations that want to approach the foundations for support in these areas should submit a detailed proposal covering the following:
 

• Organisation establishment date.
• Where you are situated.
• Mission and vision statements.
• Objectives of the organisation.
• South African Revenue Services confirmation of public benefit organisation and 18A tax exemption
• Detailed description of the programme needing funding.
• Detailed overall income and expenditure budget for the current year showing values and sources of donations already secured, and the shortfall.
• Detailed income and expenditure budget for the project in need of funding.
• Copy of your recent annual report and audited financial statements.
• Any awards achieved.
• Current list of donors.
• Challenges of your organsisation or school.
