Make international payments quickly and easily
You can now make international payments in over 25 different currencies from your personal Nedbank Private Wealth current account to an offshore account. It's quick, easy and secure on our Private Wealth app and Online Banking platform. You can use your annual R1 million single discretionary allowance or your foreign investment allowance, or simply provide supporting documents in line with exchange control requirements to make payments.

* You can submit transactions on any day (ie weekdays, weekends and public holidays). Transactions submitted after business hours will be processed only on the next business day.

How it works
Via the app: Log in and tap Transact > Payment at the bottom. Via Online Banking: Log in and click on Transact > International payments. Then select Make an international payment and follow these simple steps to complete your payment: Enter the beneficiary details. Name, surname and address. Account number. The SWIFT code or IBAN number, depending on the region where the payment is being made. The beneficiary can ask their bank for this number. Select the reason for the payment. SDA BOP code: No documents required. Non-SDA BOP code: Upload supporting documents. Enter the amount in rand or the international currency. Accept or decline the quotation. If you decline the quote, the payment details will be saved in the View international payments history tab under Saved payments for easy access to receive another quote. If you accept the quote, the transaction will be processed and you will be bound by the terms and conditions as well as applicable charges. You can also save the transaction and complete it at a later stage and view your international payments history for all settled, in-progress and saved transactions.

- Enter the beneficiary details.
  - Name, surname and address.
  - Account number.
  - The SWIFT code or IBAN number, depending on the region where the payment is being made. The beneficiary can ask their bank for this number.
- Select the reason for the payment.
  - SDA BOP code: No documents required.
  - Non-SDA BOP code: Upload supporting documents.
- Enter the amount in rand or the international currency.
- Accept or decline the quotation**.
  - If you decline the quote, the payment details will be saved in the View international payments history tab under Saved payments for easy access to receive another quote.
** If you accept the quote, the transaction will be processed and you will be bound by the terms and conditions as well as applicable charges.

You can also save the transaction and complete it at a later stage and view your international payments history for all settled, in-progress and saved transactions.

Please note:

This service is available to South African residents with a South African ID.
Transactions can be completed only from your Nedbank Private Wealth personal current account.
Exchange control regulations apply.
