Every year, Cycletec brings the Windhoek community together to officially welcome spring with fun outdoor activities. This year was no different as they presented the eagerly awaited 16th Annual Nedbank Spring Festival.
The Nedbank Spring Festival saw over 560 registered participants taking part in various activities ranging from off road duathlon, trail run and a brisk mountain bike ride to a family dog walk.
The day played out at Eagles, a venue that offers a pristine environment for a good day out with the family. Visitors to the Nedbank Spring Festival were entertained by a speed climbing wall, rodeo bull, jumping castle and an exhilarating ‘Fittest in Nam’ demonstration.
Fruit and Veg/Food Lovers Market gave away heaps of free fresh fruit to visitors in keeping with this year’s theme, which was about showing appreciation to the new season through giving.
In keeping with the theme of the last three years, Cycletec and their suppliers once again placed the entire sponsored funds towards the lucky draw, which every registered participant qualifies for. The value of the lucky draw was a staggering N$ 70 000!
The 16th Nedbank Spring Festival was a resounding success and the event remains a special highlight in our Windhoek annual calendar.
